Short-term Accommodation in Hong Kong
Short term accommodation is available throughout Hong Kong and prices will vary depending on the area of the accommodation.

The accommodation is typically a self service apartment which is fully furnished including utensils, crockery, kitchen and bathroom wares, most will also include bed linen and towels. The main difference between serviced accommodation and short term accommodation is daily maid service. Short term accommodation usually does not include daily maid service.. On request, landlords may supply maid service once a week to help keep the apartment tidy and washing of laundry, however the cost of maid service is usually at the tenant’s expense.

A minimum of 30 days is required for short term stay and a License Agreement (as opposed to a Tenancy Agreement) is normally signed. For a term of three months or less, most landlords will require one month's security deposit. For rentals over three months, landlords usually require two months’ security deposit. It is important to read the licensing agreement and ensure that is clearly states your start and end date and any penalty clauses should you wish to terminate early.

Utilities are usually included in the monthly rental, as are government rates and management fees. International calling, broadband access and occasionally electricity consumption are an additional charge.

Typically short term accommodation units will not accept pets.
